BODY LANGUAGE

Open Call For Proposals*

The Call

The Bored Peach Club is inviting Malta-based artists to submit work for an upcoming exhibition at The Brewhouse, opening in April. This is a curated group exhibition forming part of the gallery’s 2026 programme.

Body Language considers the human form as something that communicates through posture, gesture, expression, and presence. The exhibition brings together contemporary approaches that move beyond idealised or classical representations, focusing instead on how the body is observed, framed, and presented today.

We are interested in work that is visually considered and thoughtfully presented. Submissions may include new or existing works and should be suitable for display within a gallery context. A range of approaches and formats are welcome, including painting, photography, illustration, print, and other wall-hanging media. Works may have been previously exhibited and do not need to be produced specifically for this show.

Selected works will be chosen through a curatorial review, with an emphasis on visual coherence across the exhibition.

Submission deadline: 10 March 2026.

Exhibition opening: Late April (exact date to be confirmed)

Only selected applicants will be contacted. Submission details and required materials are outlined in the application form.
